Description of Artwork in Collective Disquiet

My ink drawings of woods focus on complex natural systems and their relationship to human bodies and m built environments. As I have become increasingly concerned about the climate and ecological crisis I found myself experimenting with red ink. Through this color I am able to explore primal human associations such as blood and fire, infusing the pastoral tradition of landscape drawing with a sense of urgency and panic.
